Prayer updates (September 2023)

The Way Church, Bolton

Praise:

  • A great night at Curry Night with 45 guests hearing a good bit of personal testimony.
  • A good first three months with some new people coming along.
  • A good response from congregation as we do Alpha together.

Pray for:

  • Pray for strength in this fragile stage of the Church Plant.
  • Pray for people to come to faith and join us.

 

Wellfield Church, Leyland

Praise God for:

  • A good summer, with visitors coming to our ‘Big Week Out’, and lots of kids going to summer camps.
  • Don, who’s been coming to church for the last 3 weeks since the BWO; he barely leaves his flat otherwise.
  • Three women (single mums), fairly new to the Faith, signed up for the Northwest Gospel Partnership ministry training course from September.

Please pray for:

  • Faithful outreach to men; especially for salvation for Jon, Graham, Neville, Paul, Stuart, Rees, Ross, Michael.
  • Inroads to local schools in the near future, and outreach to local youth.
  • Clarity of vision.

Immanuel Church, Mönchengladbach

Praise:

  • For new visitors.
  • For faithful and consistent attendance during the summer months.
  • For encouraging and helpful new contacts.

Prayer:

  • For faithfulness and protection in the face of a growing secularism in our city and country.
  • For more people to join the Bible study meeting.
  • For outreach and growth.

Christchurch, Leipzig

Praise:

  • For growing clarity and good progress towards planting Christusgemeinde.
  • For several new visitors interested in the church plant.

Prayer:

  • For service leading that aims for spiritual formation as people encounter and worship the living God.
  • For gifted and enthusiastic musicians to join us (we‘re really low!)
  • For a widower and a grandson to come to faith in Jesus as they mourn the loss of their wife and grandma.

All Saints Church, Lagoa

Prayer:

  • Please pray that we can reach people in our location who have a great need for Christ in their lives.
  • Please pray that we can minister effectively to the several nationalities and age groups that now attend All Saints.
